Youth For Christ Regina is looking to employ an individual who has the heart to reach youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a youth ministry role. Are you a leader and are looking for a place to make a real difference?  Are You keenly aware of the many challenges’ youth have in society today?  Do you want to lead a team of staff and volunteers in impacting young lives through creative programming, building positive relationships and giving youth opportunities to explore their potential and discover hope?

·        The desire to help in the transformation of young people's lives and encouraging them to, in turn, transform their community
 
Roles for this position
·        Youth mentorship
·        Program creation and implementation
·        Coordinating and participating in School Outreach programs
·        Coordinating and participating in Youth Centre programs
·        Supervising and supporting other program staff and volunteers
·        Leading and coordinating volunteers in weekly programs
 
Qualifications we are looking for in an applicant:
·        Youth work education is an asset
·        Experience in working with youth is required
·        Ability and willingness to establish strong community partnerships
·        Leadership qualities should include strong self-awareness, encouraging, facilitating and supporting, enthusiastic, taking initiative, trusting team to take ownership, and working well with and serving others
·        Ability to relate to youth and an on-going understanding of their culture and environment
·        Willingness and ability to adapt to new situations
·        Effective time management and organizational skills
·        Willingness to participate in networking and fundraising
·        Able to provide successful Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search

Compensation
$40,000.00 - $65,000 annually
 
*Ministry Partner Development
Being a Youth For Christ ministry worker requires Ministry Partner Development (which in short, means that all our ministry staff fundraises the salary and costs of the programs, and the majority of this is done prior to the applicant’s date of hire). The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team, which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the salary and ministry expenses. We believe that Ministry Partner Development is biblical, and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength, and perseverance. Building a ministry partnership team is an integral part of being in ministry. We are committed to providing training and coaching that assists you in the success of your Ministry Partner Development.

Compensation

$40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
